How Dental Implant Works?
Various Stages of Dental Implant:
Stage 1: Initial Consultation
At your first consultation, our dentist conducts a thorough oral examination with CBCT scans, addressing all concerns and providing resources for your upcoming surgical treatment.
Stage 2: Placement of the Implant
After ensuring pain control and comfort, our dentist use a 3D-printed guide (if planned) to place the implant in your jawbone and stitch the gum for a watertight seal.
Stage 3: Attaching the Abutment
Once the implant bonds, a second minor surgery may place a healing abutment/tissue former, though sometimes it is done during the first surgery. Your options will be fully explained by your dentist.
Stage 4: Fitting the Crown
Lab technicians create a custom replacement tooth crown. The final step involves fastening the crown onto the abutment, replacing the tooth without affecting adjacent healthy teeth, and reducing further bone loss and gum disease.
